Youth & Family
We believe Grace’s ministry with youth and families is called to empower people of all ages to live out their faith through service to others. We strive to create meaningful, age-appropriate, and family-centered opportunities that nurture faith, build relationships, and encourage lifelong discipleship. We believe we are called to encourage and support lifelong Christian learning. We provide opportunities for all ages and learning styles to grow in a Christ-centered, biblical, and apostolic faith, deepening understanding and equipping disciples for faithful living.

Hospitality
We believe we are called to live out the words of Hebrews 13:2: “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.” We welcome not only our congregation but also our wider community—where we live, work, and play—through intentional invitation, authentic relationships, and a spirit of openness that reflects Christ’s love.

Social Concerns
We believe we are called to meet people in their joys and struggles, sharing the Gospel in ways that bring hope and healing. Through a variety of outreach and service ministries, we seek to care for our congregation and serve our community with compassion and purpose.

Worship & Music
We believe we are called to gather all people to glorify God through Word, Sacrament, and music. We seek to enrich worship through creative, inspiring, and diverse musical expressions that are welcoming, engaging, and accessible to all.

Stewardship
We believe we are called to live generous lives in response to God’s abundant blessings. Christian stewardship is not about the Church’s need to receive, but about the disciple’s call to give. We seek to cultivate a spirit of gratitude and generosity, inspired by Psalm 116:12: “What shall I return to the Lord for all his bounty to me?”

Alcoholics Anonymous - Grace provides weekly meeting space for 5 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings each week.

Westerville Habitat Partnership - Grace currently has two representatives from the church that serve on the Westerville Habitat Partnership. These representatives help Social Concerns with their fundraising for HFH. They also help with various other Habitat for Humanity Fundraisers.

WARM First Fruits and Thanksgiving Food Drive - The first Sunday of every month at Grace is First Fruits Sunday. Food and monetary donations are collected by the church for the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM). WARM provides a hand up, not a hand out for Westerville School District residents who need help with interviewing skills and monetary assistance until they are able to provide for their families.

Grace Stitchers

CROP Walk - Grace participates in this annual walk to raise money for local food pantries, including WARM. The walk is held in October each year. Members of Grace volunteer to walk and ask for sponsors for their walk.

Blood Drives - We partner with the Red Cross to sponsor five blood drives per year in January, March, May, July and October. Along with the help of volunteers we provide the Red Cross with approximately 250 badly needed units of blood per year. In addition to our regular church member donors we also average more than half of the units given from outside donors.

Ruth Circle - 2nd MONDAY OF EACH MONTH 1:00-3:00pm in Rose Garden 1 Each meeting there is a Bible Study from a group selected series, a short business meeting, and refreshments. All women of Grace are invited to come and enjoy fellowship and discussion.

Men of Grace - 3RD SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH 8:00-9:00am Loaves & Fishes Cafe Join the Men of Grace for fellowship, spiritual growth and breakfast all in one morning!

Little Lambs

Katharine Circle - 1ST MONDAY OF EACH MONTH 1:00-3:00pm A self-led Bible study using different books and studies covering various topics and books of the Bible. All women of the congregation are invited and encouraged to attend and enjoy fellowship, discussion, and learning.

Grace Sisterhood - This women's group meets the second Monday of the month at 7pm. The group is made up of working women.

Sacristan - The Sacristan prepares the church for Sunday worship and activities including but not limited to unlocking doors and turning on lights. The duties are normally performed 60 to 90 minutes prior to the service.

Acolytes- Acolytes are of confirmation age and serve as crucifers, assist with offering, distribution of communion kits, and serve as torch bearers during festival processions. Acolytes are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to the worship service. Serving as an acolyte introduces the confirmation student to what we hope will become a lifetime of service in worship.

Ushers- As ushers we make sure that worship members and guests receive a bulletin and any other literature prior to the worship service. We also assist with finding seats, collecting offering, distribution of communion and directions to other areas of the church. We arrive about 20 minutes prior to the service and stay after the service to make sure that the worship space is ready for the next service.

Stewardship

Sound Technicians - We are trained on the lights and sound for the service.

Nametags

Lectors - We participate in worship by reading the scriptures for the day to the congregation. We read every three to four months during the service we like to attend. “I am glad that I am able to read the scripture as part of the service. I like thinking that the Word of God flows through me to the congregation of Grace.”

Lay Assisting Minister - We assist the pastors in conducting worship services by leading the prayers of the church and offering prayers. We are available to help during the worship services from just before worship through the end of the service.

Grace Singers Chancel Choir- We provide music for Sunday worship and other worship services throughout the year. Practices are held on Wednesday evenings. Music is mentioned in 44 of the 66 books of the Bible. “Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.”

Grace Ringers Bell Choir- We provide music for Sunday worship and other worship services throughout the year. Practices are held on Wednesday evenings. Music is mentioned in 44 of the 66 books of the Bible. “Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.”

Communion Assistants - We assist in the distribution of Holy Communion during the worship services and other special services. “Offering my Brothers and Sisters the presence of Christ through the sharing of the wine cup during the Holy Meal is the greatest form of hospitality I might ever extend.”

Joyful Voices Youth Choir- We provide music for Sunday worship and other worship services throughout the year. Practices are held on Wednesday evenings. Music is mentioned in 44 of the 66 books of the Bible. “Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.”

Cantor - We lead the congregation in the singing of the Psalms and the liturgy. Each of us serve at both services about every six to eight weeks, depending on how many volunteer. “The opportunity to use the talent of voice which God has given me to help lead in worship is indeed a privilege. I am honored to be able to serve.”

Art and Environment - Our mission is to create an inspiring visual environment to enhance worship. We meet the first Thursday of the month and at other times for various projects. “I think it is an honor to work, plan and arrange the worship space. It just seems like the right thing to do. I am happy to use energy to the glory of God.”

Annual Stewardship Program

Altar Guild- We set up and prepare Communion for Sunday services and special services throughout the year. On Saturday mornings we prepare and set up for Sunday Communion and on Sundays we clean up and reset for the second service. “Preparing the Lord’s Table and seeing the congregation partake in communion is very rewarding.”

Amazing Grace Concert Series Team - Plans and executes community concert series.

New Member Classes

Loaves and Fishes Cafe- We serve coffee and donuts on Sunday mornings after the worship services to our members and guests.

Kitchen Krew- We prepare meals for any occasion or event of the church—Advent and Lenten Luncheons, Funeral Luncheons, Blood Mobile, and any other time a request is made for a meal.

Greeters - We welcome worshippers to church for every worship service and are stationed by the Welcome Desk.

Care Team- Members of the Care Team primarily make Eucharistic visits to homebound members of the congregation and visit the sick or recovering in hospitals, rehab centers or in homes. Quarterly meetings are held to review and coordinate visits.
